Russian troops are withdrawing separate units and preparing to evacuate personnel of the occupation administrations within the temporarily occupied areas of the Zaporizhzhia region.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In particular, the units stationed at a local police department and one of educational institutions left Mykhailivka. In Polohy and Inzhenerne, the invaders are leaving houses, where they were accommodated, and taking away the stolen property. In Burchak, the occupation authorities are conducting a census for the so-called voluntary evacuation of the population,” the report states.

Over the past day, Russian troops have launched a missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian forces in the Kharkiv region. The enemy launched 16 air strikes, namely on the Zaporizhzhia region’s Bilohiria, and shelled the city of Kherson with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The threat of missile strikes on Ukraine’s energy and critical infrastructure is persisting all over the country.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

In the Siverskyi direction, Russian troops used mortars and artillery to open fire on the Chernihiv region’s Kostobobriv and Hremiach, and the Sumy region’s Havrylova Sloboda, Seredyna Buda, Pustohorod, Bachivsk, Vilna Sloboda, Budky, Bilopillia and Krasnopillia.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian invaders continue to keep units within the border areas of Russia’s Belgorod region. The enemy struck the Kharkiv region’s Huriv Kozachok, Krasne, Zelene, Slobozhanske, Ohirtseve, Bochkove, Mala Vovcha, Budarky, Dvorichna and Zapadne with the whole range of artillery pieces.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian occupiers are defending. They shelled the Kharkiv region’s Tabaivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove, the Luhansk region’s Stelmakhivka, Miasozharivka, Makiivka and Ploschanka, and the Donetsk region’s Torske with tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops are focusing efforts on conducting offensive operations. The enemy used tanks and artillery to strike the Donetsk region’s Serebrianka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Zalizne and New York.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian invaders continue attempts to improve their tactical position. The enemy opened fire on the Donetsk region’s Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane, Vesele, Krasnohorivka and Marinka with tanks and artillery.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian occupiers are keeping the defense. The Donetsk region’s Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Bohoiavlenka, Paraskoviivka, Zolota Nyva, Prechystivka, Vuhledar and Pavlivka came under enemy fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops are also defending. The enemy launched artillery strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region’s Nikopol, Kamianske, Novoandriivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka and Bilohiria, and the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Ilinka.

In the Kherson direction, Russian invaders are defending the previously captured frontiers. The Kherson region’s Kachkarivka, Respublikanets, Matrosivka, Tokarivka and Antonivka came under enemy fire. Russian occupiers continue causing terror against Kherson residents with artillery.

According to the confirmed information, Ukraine’s Defense Forces successfully inflicted fire damage on enemy clusters in previous days.

In the Zaporizhzhia region’s Myrne, Tokmak, Inzhenerne, Polohy, Yasne and Kinsky Rozdory, Russian troops lost over 230 people in wounded. Additionally, more than 15 military equipment units and an ammunition depot were destroyed. The enemy’s losses are yet to be checked.
