War update: battles ongoing in seven directions

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"Since day-start, 52 combat clashes have already taken place. The invaders launched a missile attack using three missiles, 14 airstrikes using 24 gliding bombs, and 36 kamikaze drones, as well as shelled the positions of our troops and populated areas 654 times," the statement reads.

The General Staff noted that in the early hours of Sunday, June 23, the enemy attacked Ukraine using three Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles from the Sea of ​​Azov. Two missiles were shot down in Kyiv region.

In the past 24 hours, 161 combat clashes took place.

According to a detailed update, the enemy launched six missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, using 21 missiles, 41 airstrikes (76 gliding bombs), over 4,000 artillery strikes, including 91 involving multiple rocket launchers, and over 1,500 drone strikes.

"Over the past 24 hours, the Air Force and missile and artillery units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces hit 17 Russian manpower clusters, two anti-aircraft systems, an artillery system, five ammunition depots, an electronic warfare system, a radar, a ground control station for UAVs, and a control point," the summary states.

Kharkiv axis: the aggressor carried out three attacks in the Vovchansk direction. Two have been repelled and one is ongoing. The situation is under control. Ukrainian units continue to strengthen their positions and defensive lines.

Yesterday, the enemy lost 82 personnel (KIAs and WIAs) in this direction. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed two artillery systems, an anti-aircraft system, and six vehicles. A Russian tank, three artillery systems, and three vehicles were damaged. Forty-four enemy dugouts with personnel and two ammunition warehouses were also engaged.

Kupiansk axis: Ukrainian soldiers have repelled three attacks in the Stelmakhivka area. The situation is under control.

Lyman axis: Russian invaders are trying to attack near the village of Kopanky and in the Serebryansky forest. One attack has been repelled and two are underway. The situation is under control.

Siversk axis: eight combat clashes have been reported as the enemy is concentrating its efforts in the area of ​​Rozdolivka – five attacks have been repelled and two are in progress. In addition, the invaders are trying to break through in the direction of Vyimka.

Kramatorsk axis: the enemy is not so active with only three attacks reported. The occupiers stormed unsuccessfully near Klishchiivka. Battles are underway near Ivanivske and Andriivka. Ukraine’s Defense Forces are successfully restraining the onslaught, strengthening their positions in some areas.

Toretsk axis: the battle continues in the area of ​​Severne.

Pokrovsk axis: Ukrainian defenders are taking measures to prevent an enemy advance. As of now, the Russians have made 19 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions. Combat clashes have been reported near the settlements of Novo-oleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, Sokil, and Umanske. Four attacks have been repelled and 15 are currently ongoing. The enemy attacks most actively from the direction of Ocheretyne.

According to detailed information, the Russians lost a total of 314 personnel killed and wounded. The invaders’ tank, three artillery systems, four armored fighting vehicles, and another vehicle have been destroyed. In addition, two more armored fighting vehicles, an artillery system, and nine vehicles have been damaged.

Kurakhove axis: five enemy attacks took place near Nevelske, Heorhiivka, and Paraskoviivka. The battle continues in three locations, and two attempts by the enemy to advance have been stopped. The situation remains under the control of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

Orikhiv axis: four enemy assaults were repelled in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne. No ground was lost.

In the rest of the directions, the situation did not undergo significant changes.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine are taking all necessary measures to repel the enemy's offensive and exhaust Russia’s combat potential, the General Staff notes.
