Woman killed in Russian shelling of village in Kherson region

The Russian army has shelled the village of Havrylivka, Beryslav district, Kherson region, killing a woman in her house.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the region's military administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Russian soldiers shelled Havrylivka of the Novooleksandrivka community. As a result of an enemy attack, a 71-year-old woman was killed in her home," Prokudin said.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, Beryslav District Prosecutor's Office has opened criminal proceedings over the shelling of the region and the death of the woman.

On the night of June 23-24, Russian troops shelled the village of Stepanivka in the Kherson region with artillery, killing one civilian and wounding two others.
