War update: 128 clashes along front lines, situation most tense in Pokrovsk axis

The number of combat clashes on the entire front line since day-start has increased to 128 as Russia focuses its main efforts on the Pokrovsk axis.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, publishing an operational update as of 19:00, Ukrinform reports.

Kupiansk axis: the invaders are attacking for the fifth time in the Novoselivka area after four previous attempts to improve their positions were repelled.

Lyman axis: seven of the 23 clashes recorded today are currently underway as the enemy is active in the areas of Hrekivka, Kopanky, Makiivka, Nevske, Torske, Serebryanske forestry, and Synkivka.

According to tentative reports, the invaders lost 92 personnel in this area today. Ukrainian fighters destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle and a self-propelled artillery system. A military vehicle, an artillery system, and a mortar were damaged.

Siversk axis: four battles are ongoing in the Rozdolivka and Verkhniokamianske areas. In total, the enemy attacked 21 times in this axis.

Kramatorsk axis: the invaders are trying to advance in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and Kalynivka. Nine assault attempts have been recorded.

Toretsk axi: eight clashes occurred in the area, and two are ongoing. Attacks continue in the Pivdenne and New York areas.

Pokrovsk axis: 38 engagements of varying intensity, 11 of which are ongoing in the areas of Sokil, Novo-oleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, and Vozdvyzhenka. The enemy also launched a missile attack in the area of Pokrovsk.

In the rest of the axes, the situation did not undergo significant changes.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of 16:00, fighting continued in seven axes - most of them in the areas of Pokrovsk and Lyman.
