Ukraine possesses laser technology already being used to target enemy objects at certain altitudes, according to Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi, commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces.

He stated this in an interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Ukrinform reports.

"Research and development -- an innovative activity of our command -- covers several areas. One of them, related to countering enemy aircraft and unmanned aerial systems, including finding solutions to combat Shaheds, led us to teams actively working in this field. And yes, to reiterate -- laser technologies are already striking specific targets at certain altitudes," Sukharevskyi said.
