In the latest 24 hours, the illegal armed rebel groups in Donbas actively attacked only in the Donetsk city suburbs.
Spokesman of the Presidential Administration on the ATO Colonel Andriy Lysenko told a briefing on Tuesday, Ukrinform reports.
"Traditional the most attacked location in the ATO zone is western outskirts of Donetsk city. Yesterday in this front line sector random gunfire at the Ukrainian position began after 15.00, and with breaks, it lasted until midnight," he said.
Lysenko said that heavy weapons were not used, and a sniper opened fire at our troops in the city suburb of Maryinka.
