The Baltic states and Poland have supported Ukraine's aspirations for joining NATO.
This was stated by Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak at the briefing after signing of the joint statement of the defense ministers of the five countries in Kyiv, the press service of the Ukraine’s Defense Ministry reports.
"The defense ministers of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and the Republic of Poland expressed their support for Ukraine in the struggle for independence and supported Ukraine's aspirations for joining NATO," the Minister said.
