Militants violate ceasefire 35 times over past 24 hours

"The militants shelled the ATO positions 35 times and entered a fight with Ukrainian servicemen twice in past day," reads the statement.

As noted, about 19:00 the group of militants of up to 30 people tried to break the line of defense of the Ukrainian troops near Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), using 82mm mortars. The attackers suffered losses and retreated after the two-hour battle.

The terrorists opened unaimed fire from small arms, grenade launchers of different systems, and heavy machine guns near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Mayorske, Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), and Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk).

After midnight, more than five armed provocations of the Russian-terrorist troops have been already recorded, the press center reports.
