Record number of attacks in ATO area recorded for six months

The situation in the ATO area in eastern Ukraine has worsened as a record number of attacks on the Ukrainian positions was launched within 24 hours.
Spokesman for the Presidential Administration on the anti-terrorist operation, Colonel Andriy Lysenko said this at the briefing in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The situation along the line of contact has escalated. The enemy launched 81 attacks on the Ukrainian positions. It is a record number since the end of August 2015," Lysenko said.
He added that the enemy had used heavy weapons 12 times.
