Militants launched 46 attacks on ATO troops in eastern Ukraine

"The armed confrontation in the area of conduct of the anti-terrorist operation in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions is ongoing. Russian-terrorist groups launched 46 attacks over the past day," says the report.

As noted, the illegal armed groups used 120 mm and 82 mm mortars to fire at Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk) and Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk). 

The terrorists also used banned weapons to shell Ukrainian positions near Taramchuk (30km south-west of Donetsk) and Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).

Light weapons were used against ATO troops outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), Trokhizbenka (33km north-west of Luhansk) and Hranitne (57km south of Donetsk).
