Armed Forces of Ukraine: 211 Ukrainian servicepersons killed in Donbas this year

Battle losses of the Ukrainian army in 2016 have amounted to 211 servicepersons.
This is reported by the press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in response to an information inquiry from BBC.
"The number of losses in 2016: battle losses – 211 servicepersons, non-battle losses – 256 servicepersons," the statement reads.
The Armed Forces also reported on equipment losses: "More than 100 units of military equipment have been lost as a result of combat damages."
December 6, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko said that 3,064 representatives of all security agencies, including 2,636 servicepersons, had been killed in eastern Ukraine since the onset of Donbas conflict.
