Russian-led forces launch 30 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

The armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire 30 times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements twice, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to launch attacks on Ukrainian defenders,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the Russian-led troops fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms on Ukrainian troops near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); heavy machine guns – outside Talakivka (17km north-east of Mariupol) and Novotroitske (36km south-west of Donetsk); automatic grenade launchers and heavy machine guns – in the area of Pavlopol (25km north-west of Mariupol); heavy machine guns and small arms – near Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol); mounted antitank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms – outside Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol); mounted antitank grenade launcher, heavy machine gun, anti-aircraft mount and small arms – in the area of Bohdanivka (41km south-west of Donetsk); 120mm mortars and mounted antitank grenade launcher – outside Opytne (12km north-west of Donetsk); 82mm mortars, mounted antitank grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms – near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol); mounted antitank grenade launcher – outside Novohnativka (40km south of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy used grenade launchers of different systems and small arms to shell positions of the Joint Forces in the area of Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk); weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – outside Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk); small arms – in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk).

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded over the past day. The Joint Forces adequately returned fire in response to the enemy’s shooting in line with the Minsk agreements.

According to intelligence, two invaders were wounded on June 15.

Today, the enemy has already launched seven attacks on Ukraine’s Joint Forces.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led troops used mounted antitank grenade launcher and small arms to shell Ukrainian soldiers near Shyrokyne; antitank grenade launcher and heavy machine guns – outside Lebedynske; automatic grenade launchers and small arms – in the area of Talakivka; heavy machine guns – near Pyshchevyk; automatic grenade launchers – outside Vodiane.

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, Ukrainian troops came under hand-held grenade launcher and heavy machine gun fire on the outskirts of Pivdenne and under grenade launcher and small arms fire near Novotoshkivske.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire agreements.
