Ukraine launches mass production of long-range strike drones

CEO of Ukroboronprom Herman Smetanin said this in an interview with ArmyInform, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, now they hit strategic enemy targets at a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers.

At the same time, Smetanin recalled that Ukraine has already successfully launched the mass production of first-person view (FPV) drones.

 "A significant contribution was made by our enterprises that established close cooperation with private companies and helped them scale production," he said.

He also noted that the enemy should not be underestimated, especially one as powerful as Russia.

"We have become more non-linear and innovative. Russia has huge resources and a superpowerful industry, so it makes no sense to blindly copy its approach. We are forced to be more flexible and resourceful. In time, David realized that fighting Goliath with Goliath's own methods is a wrong idea. As a result, he chose the weapon that could bring victory and he skillfully used it," Smetanin said.
