Ukraine’s anti-corruption efforts not enough – Biden

He said this while delivering speech at the Parliament of Ukraine.

"If you succeed, you will be the founders of the first democratic and free Ukraine," Biden said and reminded that "the whole world is watching the struggle of Ukraine against aggression and corruption."

However, the U.S. Vice President did not praise Ukraine’s fight against corruption. "You cannot find any democracy in the world with so progressing cancer of corruption, you cannot find any such country. It is not enough just to set up the Anti-Corruption Bureau. For this fight, you should carry out the judicial reform to bring to justice the persons concerned ... The oligarchs and not the oligarchs, all must follow the same rules, all must pay taxes, and not put pressure on the judges."
