Rada renames Dnipropetrovsk to Dnipro

Lawmakers have approved a legislative decree №3864 to rename the city of Dnepropetrovsk, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, to Dnipro city by getting 247 votes, Ukrinform reports.
"The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decrees: to rename the city of Dnipropetrovsk region, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, to city of Dnipro," text of the act says.
The legislative decree is enacted on the date of its adoption.
