U.S. to deepen educational and cultural ties with Ukraine

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs, Evan Ryan, will pay an official visit to Kyiv on December 6-8, according to an official report bythe U.S. Department of State.
“The U.S. Assistant Secretary of State will meet officials from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to discuss ways to increase people-to-people ties and exchanges between the United States and Ukraine,” reads the report.
Also, Assistant Secretary Ryan will also engage with current exchange participants and alumni of the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program and the Digital Communication Network.
In addition, she will attend events in connection with a forthcoming visit of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden to Ukraine, the U.S.Department of State reports.
