Bubka hands over Zelensky's invitation to visit Ukraine to IOC president

President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka has met with President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach, the NOC's press service has reported.
According to the report, Bubka handed over to Bach a letter of invitation from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to visit Ukraine next year to take part in events marking the 30th anniversary of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
Bach thanked for the invitation and said he will plan his visit to Ukraine in advance, the report said.
The meeting took place in Ljubljana (Slovenia), where leaders of the Olympic movement from about 20 countries honored the memory of former President of the European Olympic Committees Janez Kosijancic and discussed the further development of Olympism.
