IOC president to visit Kyiv on Sept 11-12

President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach will pay a working visit to Kyiv on September 11-12 at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine has told Ukrinform.
"The program of the world's top Olympics official includes participation in a solemn ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, which will be held at the Ukraina National Palace of Arts, a meeting with the head of state and a visit to the capital's urban park and the main Olympic base in Koncha-Zaspa, where the construction of sports infrastructure is underway as part of the Great Construction state program," the press service said.
Bach and President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Serhiy Bubka will meet with the country's outstanding Olympians and attend a training session of Ukrainian athletes.
