Russia’s air strike kills 18 people in Odesa region – state administration

Russian armed formations launched an air attack on a military unit in the village of Lypetske, Odesa region, killing 18 people.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Odesa Regional State Administration wrote on its  page on Facebook.

"18 people died as a result of a Russian strike on a military unit in the village of Lypetske, Podilsky district," the report says.

According to the administration, eight men and ten women were among those killed. Works are underway to dismantle the blockages.

As reported, early in the morning of February 24, residents of Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities woke up to the sounds of loud explosions. The explosions began to be reported around 05:00 after the head of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, announced the beginning of a special military operation in Donbas.
