Russian military who seized two Ukrainian army vehicles neutralized – Defense Ministry
Russian servicemen, who seized two vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, changed into the uniform of the Ukrainian military and were moving at high speed to the center of Kyiv from Obolon, have been neutralized.
Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Anna Maliar announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Update: Neutralized," she wrote, expanding her previous post.
Earlier, Maliar said that Russian troops had seized two vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, changed into the uniform of the Ukrainian military and were moving at high speed to the center of Kyiv from Obolon. She also noted that a convoy of Russian military trucks was following them.
As was reported earlier, the head of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, on February 24 announced the launch of a special military operation in the Donbas. Russia started a war against Ukraine at about 04:00 on February 24.
Martial law has been imposed in Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree introducing general mobilization across the country.
