Ukrainian military equipment enters Kyiv – Interior Ministry

Ukrainian military equipment enters Kyiv to defend the city, the Interior Ministry's press service has quoted Vadym Denysenko, an adviser to the Ukrainian interior minister, as saying.

"Now Ukrainian military equipment is entering Kyiv to hold the defense of Kyiv," he said.

He asked residents of the city not to film or post information about the movement of military equipment.

The head of the aggressor country, Vladimir Putin, on February 24 announced the beginning of a special military operation in Donbas.

At about 04:00 on February 24, Russia started a war against Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that martial law was being imposed across Ukraine.

Early on February 24, the Verkhovna Rada approved Zelensky's decree imposing martial law throughout Ukraine.
