Almost UAH 300M raised for Ukrainian Armed Forces over past day - NBU

Over the past 24 hours, almost UAH 300 million has been transferred for a special account opened to raise funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the Government portal.

In particular, almost UAH 300 million (in equivalent) was transferred to a special account of the National Bank of Ukraine, which was opened to raise funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Funds came from business and citizens of Ukraine, as well as from the international community (including the EU, USA, Canada, Britain, etc.).

"We are grateful to everyone who found an opportunity to support the Ukrainian army. We appreciate your support, it is very important at this time. And together we believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine," said Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Kyrylo Shevchenko.

As reported, the NBU governor on February 24 announced the opening of the special to supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The information about the account is available on the central bank’s website.
