Ukraine to receive anti-aircraft and other military defense systems today – Vereshchuk

Ukraine expects to receive military assistance on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, Temporary Occupied Territories Reintegration Minister Iryna Vereshchuk on Rada TV Channel.

“Today we are working on international support and assistance. We will receive assistance today, anti-aircraft defense systems that we need very much. Other military defense systems will also arrive in Ukraine today. Our troops will be well provided,” Vereshchuk told.

Vereshchuk noted that Ukraine’s military are holding positions and called on citizens to not read fake news from the Russian Federation about somebody deserting to the enemy.

“This is not happening,” Vereshchuk stressed.

A reminder that, recently, Ukraine has received a regular batch of defensive ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the Government of Canada.
