Arestovych says about 4,500 Russian troops killed and wounded

As of 18:00 on February 27, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to about 4,500 troops killed and wounded. Some 27 planes, 26 helicopters and other equipment were destroyed.

Oleksiy Arestovych, a freelance adviser to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, announced this on the Rada TV channel, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"The losses of enemy personnel amounted to about 4,500 people killed and wounded. That's about 1,500 killed and 3,000 wounded, according to our preliminary estimates. Some 27 aircraft were destroyed and damaged, data are being clarified after night raids, as well as 26 helicopters, about 150 tanks, more than 700 armored personnel carriers, more than 700 armored personnel carriers, about 50 guns, one Buk air defense system, four MLRS-21 Grad, 60 refueling tanks, two UAVs of operational and tactical level, and two ships and boats," Arestovych said.

He added that new forces are coming to the Ukrainian Armed Forces - more than 100,000 reservists have joined the ranks of defenders, and the tactics of territorial defense forces produce its own results. Currently, there is no threat to large cities, with the SBU State Security Service skillfully working with groups of saboteurs.
