Food delivery points being set up in Ukrainian cities

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Economy and active citizens, is working on the creation of centralized food supply points in Kyiv and other cities affected by the aggressor's actions.

That's according to the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukrinform reports.

"We are working with businesses that can deliver food to citizens and our defenders. There are difficulties with logistics, but thanks to the cooperation of all departments of the Ministry of Infrastructure we are achieving results. We thank everyone who supports us," the statement reads.

The ministry said that systematic work with retail chains is carried out not only in Kyiv. At the same time, logistics is somewhat complicated by the introduction of curfew.

"It is important to emphasize that all exit and entry roads are controlled by Ukraine. In coordination with the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense ensure the safe movement of carriers. In the same way, stations and stations are under the control of the Ukrainian authorities, we are forming additional trains and informing about all changes," the ministry said.

Ukravtodor and Ukrzaliznytsia are systematically working on the formation of "green corridors" that should ensure the movement of goods, evacuation of people and at the same time would hinder the enemy, the statement said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a large-scale invasion of the country. Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, and missiles are hitting Ukrainians' homes.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the losses of the Russian army amounted to about 4,500 troops.

Ukraine filed a lawsuit against Russia with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
