Russian invaders fire on utility enterprises in Mariupol

The Russian invaders have shelled utility enterprises of Mariupol, trying to paralyze the city.

The Mariupol City Council wrote on its Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

“Following shelling of civilian population, Russian fascists have just now hit utility enterprises of Mariupol. Komunalnyk [enterprise] has come under enemy fire. Rushists are trying to paralyze the city and prevent the full resumption of electricity, heat and water supply. This is another crime of Russians against civilians,” the report says.

According to him, the Ukrainian army inflicts heavy losses on the enemy.

"We hope that the occupiers will be driven out of suburbs. Mariupol residents, hang in there!,” the City Council stressed.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
