Invaders fire Tocka-U missile on Mariupol – National Guard

On Tuesday, Mariupol town, Donetsk region, was shelled with Tocka-U missile with a cluster warhead designed to destroy manpower.

The enemy is deliberately hitting civilians and infrastructure, the National Guard of Ukraine reports.

"Today's attack was carried out with Tocka-U missile with a cluster warhead designed to destroy manpower. Therefore, the use of this missile in a residential area, where there are no soldiers, was aimed at maximizing civilian casualties. One civilian was killed and one more was wounded," the National Guard of Ukraine said.

Earlier, the National Police of Ukraine reported that law enforcement officers had opened a case over invaders’ attack on Mariupol.

The information that the Russian invaders fired Tocka-U missiles on Kirova district in Mariupol is also confirmed on the Facebook page of Joint Forces Operation. It is underscored that such actions are nothing but genocide of the people of Ukraine.

According to preliminary information, 21 people have been injured. The death toll is being determined.

As reported, today the Russian invaders launched a missile strike on the center of Mariupol. A residential area was also shelled.

Russian president Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of all Ukrainian people, courageously resist the Russian aggression.
