In Starobilsk, Luhansk region, locals stand on road singing anthem, blocking enemy convoy

In the town of Starobilsk, Luhansk region, the local population hoisting national yellow and blue flags blocked the road to prevent a convoy of enemy vehicles from advancing, while singing the national anthem of Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, the video from the scene was posted on Facebook by the head of the military regional administration of Luhansk region, Serhiy Haidai.

In the video, the crowd is seen singing the anthem, standing right on the road facing a convoy of enemy vehicles, then shouting to them: "Murderers! Occupiers!" The invaders fired automatic fire into the air, but no civilians retreated.

Having uploaded the video, Haidai wrote: “Starobilsk. Ukraine’s Luhansk region, will never feed the Russian occupier! Get out of our land!”

In another post on Facebook, he said that the military enlistment office was burned down in Starobilsk last night, posting the relevant photo proof.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his troops to invade Ukraine. Martial law was imposed. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization.
