Russian troops target Avdiivka with rocket launcher Smerch

The Russian troops fired on Avdiivka city using the multiple rocket launcher Smerch.

Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Russian troops shelled Avdiivka from Smerch. Fortunately, all the shells fell outside the city, no one was injured," Kyrylenko wrote.

According to him, the Russian occupiers continue to inflict attacks on Avdiivka, including air strikes.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
