In the past 24 hours, up to 30 Russian combat aircraft violated the airspace of Ukraine, mainly from the Republic of Belarus, shelling the civilian population.
The press service of the Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The seventh day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the Russian invasion continues. In Volyn, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have created a reliable defense system. They constantly monitor the pattern of enemy's actions demonstrated along the Ukrainian border. In the coastal direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to conduct a defensive operation, successfully deterring the overwhelming forces of the enemy. Our divisions neutralized landing troops that tried to land near the city of Mykolaiv,” the report says.
It is noted that the Ukrainian army continue to capture groups of Russian soldiers and officers, some of them refuse to continue offensive actions.
