In Kharkiv region, 22,000 citizens were evacuated over past day due to Russia’s air bombardment.

"The Russian enemy continues to commit war crimes against the civilian population of Kharkiv region. Yesterday, March 2, there were 7 bombardments, air bombs hit Kulynychy community, Chuhuiv, Izium districts, Belgorod direction of Kharkiv ... Over the day, 22,000 residents were evacuated. Today, trains will run to Poltava, where there will be a logistics center towards other directions," Oleh Synegubov, Head of the Kharkiv Military-Civil Administration, posted on Telegram.

According to him, the number of civilian casualties is being established: "Rescuers continue to work in an enhanced mode."

"Humanitarian aid is actively arriving in Kharkiv. Yesterday, about seven railway cars arrived, as well as 19 trucks, which are now being unloaded at the Nova Poshta terminals and logistics centers. In the morning, products began to be delivered to metro stations and bomb shelters,” the Administration head added.

According to him, the defense of Kharkiv city is fully maintained: "Our military are standing on their positions, which are constantly strengthening."

On the night of March 3, the town of Izium in Kharkiv region was hit by an air strike: there are casualties. There was also air bombardment of the airfield in Chuhuiv, CHP-5 in Kharkiv-Kharkiv, CHP-5 station, armor school in Poltavsky Shliakh, and a dormitory in Klochkivska Street.

Over the past day, 21 people were killed and more than 110 were injured. Fires erupted due to the air raid are being put out, detonation of shells is ongoing.

Ukraine filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation at the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague. International Criminal Court Prosecutor Karim Khan commenced an investigation into the situation in Ukraine.

Thirty-nine countries requested the International Criminal Court to investigate Russia's war crimes in Ukraine.
