Zaporizhzhia NPP on fire due to shelling by Russian invaders

A fire has broken out at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) due to shelling by Russia’s heavy weapons.

The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia NPP Spokesperson Andrii Tuz on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Russian military shelled towards Zaporizhzhia NPP, having caused a fire,” Tuz said.

A reminder that fierce battles are underway near Zaporizhzhia NPP. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are keeping the defense.

On March 3, 2022, more than 100 military vehicles entered Enerhodar. The city has been defended by more than 20,000 people over several days. On March 3, 2022, Russians fired on the checkpoint and civilians.
