Reznikov predicts turning of the tide in near future

For the ninth day in a row, Ukraine has been repelling Russian troops that invaded our territory. The turning of the tide will happen in the near future, so we must be self-disciplined.

"196 hours of defense. We have been repelling the Russian occupiers for the second week. During these hours and days, the turning of the tide happens. This period requires self-discipline, special focus. Our defenders have stopped the enemy in most directions. In some areas, the Armed Forces have carried out a successful counterattack," Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov posted on Facebook.

According to him, the situation in the south remains difficult as the enemy has been shelling the Zaporizhzhia NPP in recent hours. But our people have the fighting spirit in our Cossack, so the invaders are doomed to defeat. Kharkiv stands as an invincible fortress.

Sumy and Chernihiv are fighting to save Kyiv from the siege.

In the east and south – everywhere – the Ukrainian people are repelling the enemy.

"Many difficult decisions have been made these days. We had to maneuver to save the army. But we will regain all our land. We look with pain at the destroyed buildings after the Russian shelling. We will rebuild everything," the defense minister assured.

According to him, the commander of the flagship of the Ukrainian Navy complied with the order to sink the ship so that the enemy could not capture the Hetman Sahaidachny frigate, which was under repair. "It's hard to imagine a more difficult decision for a brave warrior and the whole team. But we will build a new fleet. Modern, powerful. The main thing now is to withstand. I understand perfectly well that everyone is tired, many people are exhausted, shocked by the loss. There is still a very difficult period ahead. We need a lot of strength and endurance.

But I want to tell everyone. Ukrainians, you are incredible," the minister stressed.
