Results in talks on humanitarian corridors for Mariupol not yet achieved – adviser to interior minister
The situation in Mariupol is the most critical now and there is no results yet in talks on humanitarian corridors for the city, according to Vadym Denysenko, an adviser to the Ukrainian interior minister.
“The most critical situation now - the city of Mariupol, of course. Unfortunately, results in talks on humanitarian corridors have not been achieved yet. The situation there is quite critical. Especially considering that in recent days, the enemy is constantly shelling the city from Grad MLRS, firing upon the infrastructure. A special cynicism is that they are shelling hospitals too,” Denysenko said on Ukrainian TV channels, an Ukrinform correspond reported.
He also said that according to preliminary information, a battle has just begun in Nemishayevo, a town near Borodianka, Kyiv region. The information is being verified.
As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
