Ukraine calls on people around the world to go out on Mar 5-6 and demand that skies be closed

Ukraine is calling on Ukrainians abroad and foreigners to come to their city squares on March 5-6, 2022 and demand that their governments help to close the skies over Ukraine.

The relevant video was posted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Ukrainians all over the world – there is 65 million of you. Those who became Ukrainian due to the call of spirit and conscience – there is hundreds of millions of you. On March 5-6, 2022, go out on all city squares and demand that the skies above your Motherland be closed, because they want to take your Motherland away,” the report states.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching massive artillery strikes on housing sectors in Ukrainian cities and villages.
