“Today the enemy has disabled 34 hospitals all over the country. Some of them have their buildings destroyed, networks broken, left without water and electricity supply services Some of them are completely unable to operate. It is another violation of the Geneva Conventions, claiming that health workers cannot be involved in the war, military conflicts. The occupiers are neglecting this, deliberately violating all the provisions of the Geneva Conventions, and proving once again that they are not the army but terrorists,” Liashko said.
In his words, the Ukrainian Health Ministry is keeping in touch with the World Health Organization (WHO), which has already published the first six violations of the Geneva Conventions on its website, recording attacks on hospitals.
This information will be forwarded to international courts.
