Russian invaders shell airport near Vinnytsia
Enemy missiles hit a military facility near the village of Havryshivka, not far from Vinnytsia.
The head of the Vinnytsia regional military administration, Serhiy Borzov, reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"We have bad news. As a result of a rocket attack near Havryshivka, a military facility came under fire. State Emergency Service crews are currently working," Borzov said.
He did not specify whether there were casualties as a result of the shelling.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Ground Forces reported on Facebook that "in Vinnytsia, Russian fascists have just fired on the airport."
As reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops are shelling and destroying infrastructure, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in the country and general mobilization was announced.
