Russian invaders fire on checkpoint in Yasnohorodka, killing five persons

Russian invaders have fired on a checkpoint in the village of Yasnohorodka, Fastiv District, killing five persons.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Internal Affairs Ministry on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“About 06:00 p.m., March 5, 2022, Russian occupiers attacked local residents in the village of Yasnohorodka, Byshiv Territorial Community. They were allegedly firing with a machine gun. Five persons were killed, one person was wounded,” the report states.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are killing civilians, shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile strikes on residential houses.
