Mayor of Bucha wounded - Ministry of Internal Affairs
Anatoliy Fedoruk, the mayor of Bucha, a town on the outskirts of Kyiv region, which has been the site of fierce shelling by Russian invaders over the past days, was wounded on Sunday, March 6.
This was reported by an Interior Minister’s advisor Vadym Denysenko, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"According to preliminary reports, the mayor of Bucha was wounded. This report emerged just an hour and a half ago," he said.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion.
Russian troops have been killing civilians, shelling and destroying key infrastructure, and their missiles have been hitting Ukrainian households.
