Poland has not yet made decision on transfer of fighter jets to Ukraine

At the moment, Poland has not made any decisions on the transfer of military fighter jets to Ukraine.

"As for the transfer of jets, I can only repeat that no decisions on this issue have been made at the moment. The debate on the areas of action of the North Atlantic Alliance is underway, but this discussion is still ongoing, no decisions have been made on this issue," Polish government spokesman Piotr Müller said at a press conference in Warsaw, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to him, the information about the alleged combat sorties of military aircraft from Polish airfields over the territory of Ukraine is untrue.

As Müller added, significant assistance is sent to Ukraine every day: "There are hundreds of trucks that come to the rescue for Ukraine, in particular, for the Armed Forces."

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken earlier said that NATO members, including Poland, were given the green light to send fighter jets to Ukraine, while the United States and its allies were stepping up defensive support for Ukraine.

The war against Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24. Russian troops are shelling and destroying infrastructure, massively hitting residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.
