Ukrainian servicemen eliminated Lieutenant Colonel Dmitri Safronov, Russian marine battalion Commander.

"Russian Lieutenant Colonel Dmitri Pavlovich Safronov, 61st Naval Infantry Brigade, Commander of the Marine Battalion, was successfully disposed of today," reads the publication on Telegram channel with the latest information from Ukraine’s Armed Forces.

On March 2, it became known that the Ukrainian military killed Major General Andrey Sukhovetskiy, Deputy Commander of the 41st Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District of the Russian Armed Forces.

The war against Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24. Russian troops are shelling and destroying infrastructure, massively hitting residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.
