SBU thanks Ukrainian women for helping defend Ukraine

Ukraine's SBU State Security Service has thanked the women who are defending Ukraine side by side with men.

According to Ukrinform, the SBU announced this on Facebook.

"Two weeks ago, we made plans on how to spend four weekends on the March holidays and what gifts to present to loved ones. That was before the war. And now we understand that the best gift is our Victory, which will bring peace to Ukraine. And the contribution of women in this Victory will be decisive!" the statement said.

The security service noted that 'there is no more 'International Women's Day' … There is a day of gratitude, respect and honor to you, dear women! Thank you for defending Ukraine side by side with men, for saving and helping others, volunteering."

"And we will definitely give you flowers - a little later. When sunflowers will grow from the seeds that our Ukrainian land receives together with the occupiers. Congratulations to you, women defenders! We will win together!" the SBU said.
