One killed, four injured in enemy shelling in Luhansk region
One person was killed and four were injured in the shelling by the Russian aggressor in the Luhansk region late on March 7. A kindergarten and psychoneurological boarding school came under fire.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhii Haidai, said this on Facebook.
"Last night in the Luhansk region was more or less quiet, but last evening and this morning are bringing us back to the realities of war. […] Thanks to orcs, we have people killed and wounded. In Sievierodonetsk, Russians fired at another kindergarten," he wrote.
According to him, Rubizhne, Kreminna, Popasna are cities most affected by the shelling by the Russian army yesterday.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
Ukraine filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation to the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
