Russia’s airstrike on Malyn kills five people, including two children
Five people, including two children, were killed in Russian bombardment of Malyn city, Sumy region, on March 8.
According to Ukrinform, the relevant report was released by the Interior Ministry’s press service.
“On March 8 at 20:50, as a result of an air strike on the city of Malyn, Zhytomyr region, seven private single-story residential houses on Vokzalna street were destroyed, five people were killed, including two children born in 2021,” the report says.
In addition, in Kharkiv region, in the village of Dinets, Chuhuiv district, a shell hit a residential building during an air strike, killing two people, including a child born in 2015.
As reported, on February 24, Russia declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure. Missiles hit residential buildings.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.
