Russian aggressors' death toll already over 12,000 – Ukraine’s General Staff

From February 24 to March 9, the Russian aggressor lost more than 12,000 soldiers and officers.

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports, referring to their Facebook page.

In addition, Ukrainian forces destroyed 317 Russian tanks, 1,070 armored combat vehicles, 120 artillery systems, 56 MLR systems, 28 air defense systems, 49 aircraft, 81 helicopters, 482 vehicles, 3 ships/boats, 60 fuel tanks, and 7 tactical UAVs.

Data on Russian losses is being updated. The assessment is complicated by highly intense hostilities.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched an invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, massively hitting residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages, using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
