9 people, including 3 children, killed in Russia’s shelling of Zhytomyr region

Nine people, including three children, were killed in Russian airstrikes on Zhytomyr region over the past 24 hours.

"Over the past 24 hours, nine people were killed in airstrikes on Zhytomyr region: four servicemen and, the worst thing, five civilians. Two infants and one minor child were among the five civilians killed," Head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Bunechko said in his video address, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, the Russian Federation is destroying infrastructure in Zhytomyr region. In particular, an air strike was launched on the Izovat plant in Zhytomyr yesterday.

As reported, the day before, Russians fired missiles on Zhytomyr and Malyn community.
