Russian invaders begin to shell Mykolaiv with Grad and Uragan systems

In the evening of March 9, 2022, the Russian military started to shell the city of Mykolaiv with Grad and Uragan multiple rocket launcher systems.

The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“At the moment, Mykolaiv is being shelled from the direction of Kropyvnytskyi with Grad and Uragan systems. They are either testing our checkpoints or preparing to attack. I think shelling will also continue at night,” Sienkevych told.

In his words, Russian invaders are also using the prohibited cluster munitions.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian invaders are destroying the key infrastructure facilities, shelling residential houses and killing civilians.
