Russians fire Uragan systems on Nizhyn, killing at least two people

Russian troops fired Uragan multiple rocket launcher systems on the town of Nizhyn, Chernihiv region.

"Today at 14:20, there was a devastating attack from Uragan multiple rocket launcher systems. There is information about 8 wounded and 2 killed. As a result of the explosion, 40 meters of the heating main were damaged. Repairs are being carried out," Nizhyn Mayor Oleksandr Kodola posted on Facebook.

According to the mayor, four houses are still blacked out, repair works will continue tomorrow. Windows were broken in school No.17, kindergarten No.25, and family medicine outpatient clinic No.6, as a result of the explosion. The relevant services eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation.

Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed Russia’s division of Iskander-M ballistic operational-tactical missile systems in Chernihiv region.
