Ukrainian artillery destroys enemy tank, two IFVs
The artillery of the 128th Separate Mountain Zakarpattia Brigade has destroyed an enemy tank and two infantry fighting vehicles.
According to Ukrinform, the 128th brigade announced this on Facebook.
"The artillery of the 128th Separate Mountain Zakarpattia Brigade opened fire on the armored vehicles of the Russian army, hitting a tank and two infantry fighting vehicles," the statement reads.
The Ukrainian military added that enemy crews were escaping, while other armored vehicles and tanks were fleeing from the fire of Ukrainian artillery, "like cockroaches."
On February 24, Russian President Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure, residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
Ukraine has officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation with the UN's International Court of Justice in The Hague.
