Russian troops hide behind backs of civilians in Mykolayiv region
In Mykolayiv region, the enemy goes out into the field, shoots, and hides in the village behind people's backs so that Ukrainian defenders cannot reach them.
"The enemy continues its practice: goes out into the field, shoots and hides back in the village. Yes, they are launching a ground operation, well ... They drive canopies with people. I know where 200-300 of them are already standing ... They brought people from ‘LPR’ and ‘DPR’. They are not soldiers ... They say: ‘We want to go home. Can we go home on foot from here?’ But barrier squads prevent this from happening. This is done to distract our attention," Head of the Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim posted on in his Telegram account, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, unfortunately, there is shelling of the city and surrounding villages, it causes damage, and the Armed Forces cannot fire back at the villages.
On February 24, Russian president Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops invaded simultaneously from the north, east, and Crimea. They destroy cities, kill civilians, fire on and ruin key infrastructure facilities, and hit residential houses with missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced. The Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the support of the entire nation, courageously resist the aggression.
